Teachers Assisting Peers
T.A.P. is a collaborative peer assistance program coordinated by the Rockwood NEA and the Rockwood School District. The T.A.P. program is provided to support teachers requesting assistance to enhance instructional effectiveness in an effort to increase student achievement.
Second year teachers who had a mentor will be given first priority. First year teachers without mentors will be accepted in the program on a space available basis. However, any teacher is eligible if space permits.
Email your request to get involved with the T.A.P. program.
RNEA Friend of Education Award
Education depends on more than just teachers and students. Often it's the parent, community member, administrator, or support staff person who makes the difference. The RNEA would like to join you in showing appreciation to those whose actions support education.
To recommend a recipient of the "Friend of Education Award," please complete and submit the award application to your Association Representative or directly to the President of the RNEA.
